The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel is looking for an Event Support Expert (Team Leader) to help support and lead the fantastic Conference and Banqueting Team!
We are looking for a passionate Event Support Expert (Team Leader) wanting to deliver a first-class experience at the world leading hospitality company Portsmouth Marriott Hotel located near famous landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower has a range of amenities including: Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness centre.

What you’ll be doing as a Event Support Expert (Team Leader)
- Prepare coffee breaks, carts and stations with appropriate supplies
- Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and carts for service
- Communicate any additional meal requirements or special requests to the kitchen
- Ensure courses are properly cleared and crumbed in a timely fashion
- Manage the presentation of tableware so that it is accessible for the guests
- Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitization of tables, stations and service areas
- Lead shifts and Serves as a role model to our fantastic banqueting team
- Lead on delivery of our amazing range of conference and events
- Organize the day to day running of our events to ensure a smooth and seamless operation
- Support the Restaurant and Bar operation within our Cast Iron Bar and Grill.
- Works closely and efficiently with our passionate Sales and Events department
- Enjoys the fast-paced operation
- Leads by example and is a team player
- Can communicate clearly (verbal, listening, writing)
- Is proactive, reliable and can support shifts including weekends and bank holidays
