for a luxury 5* Game Lodge in the Sabi Sands, Mpumalanga.

Job Description
- Team Management: Oversee and manage a team of approximately 60 personnel, ensuring their effective performance and well-being.
- Legal Compliance: Maintain adherence to all relevant legal requirements and regulations pertaining to safari operations.
- Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks including leave management, payroll processing, and financial planning.
- Budgeting and Finance: Develop and manage budgets for safari operations, ensuring efficient financial management.
- Training and Development: Drive training initiatives for the safari team, leveraging specialized service providers to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Service Standards: Uphold and establish service standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safari activities.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a dynamic team of individuals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Must have at least 2 years of Lodge management and ideally, Senior/Head Guide experience within a 5* lodge environment.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, lodge management, and stakeholders.
- Hands-On Approach: Willingness to lead by example and be actively involved in all aspects of safari operations.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, within the luxury hospitality industry
- Qualifications: Guiding qualifications. Management qualifications would also be advantageous.
- Salary: R20,000 - R25,000 per month, negotiable based on experience. Including accommodation & meals.
- Benefits: Standard benefits package including medical aid, pension, and uniform.
