Minimum Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in Supply Chain, Marketing, or a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of national retail buying experience, within the Groceries FMCG sector.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Proven experience in driving category growth and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Management and Negotiations: Lead negotiations with national and regional suppliers to secure competitive pricing and promotional deals, ensuring optimal margins and trade agreements.
• Sales and Profitability: Manage sales and profitability for your assigned categories by selecting the right products and planning promotions to meet targets.
• Stock and Inventory Control: Oversee stock management for stores and distribution centres, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing overstocks.
• Promotional Planning: Develop and implement strategic promotional plans in collaboration with suppliers, ensuring flawless execution and evaluating campaign effectiveness.
• Product Ranging and Innovation: Drive product range decisions and innovation to keep Boxer’s offerings competitive and aligned with market demands.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor your team, fostering a positive environment that encourages growth and professional development.
