This internship offers a valuable opportunity for an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in education, administration, project management, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in project coordination within the education sector. Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks required for the smooth operation of educational projects. This includes managing correspondence, filing, and organizing office documents.
Data Management: Support the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date databases using Excel and CRM systems. Ensure all participant and project data are recorded efficiently.
Enrollment and Scheduling: Help oversee the registration and enrollment process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for program participants. Assist in scheduling sessions, coordinating staff rotas, and managing logistical details.
Communication: Liaise with educational institutions and stakeholders under the supervision of the Educational Project Coordinator to communicate program offerings, updates, and gather feedback.
Event Coordination: Assist in the organization and logistics for events, workshops, and other program-related activities.
Document Preparation: Prepare and distribute administrative documents such as reports, proposals, and program guidelines under guidance.
Compliance Assistance: Support the Educational Project Coordinator in ensuring that programs comply with local educational standards and policies.
Ideal Candidate:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Enthusiastic about gaining experience in educational project coordination.
Available to work 2-3 days a week on-site at our Johannesburg office.
