This role will oversee the overall project from initiation through to completion, ensuring that it stays on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards. You will manage the project team, stakeholder communication, and risk management. This is a fully remote role with travel to international clients as required The scope of activities will encompass leading, planning, design, implementation, testing and solution documentation activities. The successful candidate will have experience in requirements management, operational business reengineering and systems integration . The detailed level of understanding must be driven from a top down understanding and articulation of the big picture. This is a client facing position and the candidate must be able to communicate to clients and potential clients both verbally and in written format.
Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution, adhering to standards of scope, budget, quality and timeline to achieve success.
Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals.
Coordinate internal team members during all project phases, from initial scoping through development, implementation and system commissioning
Monitor project progress and make detailed, scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
Maintain minutes and formal feedback to stakeholders on project progress
Communicate proactively with the internal teams to identify problems, create solutions, and improve efficiencies.
Analyze critical workflows to identify customer issues and remediate efficiency gaps.
Generate functional, system, and technical requirements from all stakeholders on each project.
Conduct requirements-gathering using internal/external data like end-user interviews
Collaborate on proof-of-concepts, pilots, minimum viable products, business cases and quality control
Lead and support engineering teams to deliver projects for clients on schedule and within budget.
Communicate effectively to both internal teams and clients. This will be the foundation for success in this role.
Establish project priorities and Identify necessary resources,
Represent project management as a discipline and as a stakeholder from concept development and product / system formulation through design, build, test, and delivery
Lead project meetings, internal and external deliverable reviews, and interactions with customers
Develop and maintain Mi-C3’s best practices
Travel as required to represent Mi-C3 to its customers, vendors, and partners
Maintain the project Risk register.
With any change to the key project drivers of Scope, Quality, Time, Resources to be able to adjust the project appropriately to meet client requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Strong project leadership skills. This position leads organizational and customer-facing teams with a strong foundation in software project management principles, creative problem solving, strong communication & reporting
PMBOK principles
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in planning and executing complex projects including schedule, cost, scope, and personnel management.
Ability to ask the right questions, identify risks or gaps in a project plan, and exhaustively investigate problems to closure is a must.
Solid Telco/ Towerco industry experience
In depth understanding and experience with the e TOM Business Process Framework
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR similar level/years of relevant experience and/or academic background (15 years)
Extensive leadership experience with strong communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong experience developing and/or leading large projects/programs across multiple teams with a focus on systems with various forms of integration
Experience planning for and tracking risks and implementing mitigation strategies that are thought through and consider multiple paths to a solution
Ability to write and speak clearly about technical and programmatic subject matter
