We are seeking an experienced Lodge Operations Manager to oversee our Head of Department (HOD) team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest operational standards. If you thrive in isolated environments and have a passion for hospitality, this role is for you! Key Responsibilities:
Manage the HOD team in all operational, health and safety, and staff welfare functions.
Ensure the guest experience meets and exceeds expectations.
Assign daily tasks to the HOD team and monitor productivity, providing constructive feedback.
Maintain lodge standards and oversee financial operations, controlling expenses and optimizing costs.
Interact with guests professionally and resolve complaints promptly.
Foster a safe and healthy working environment, including staff meals and accommodation.
Build and maintain relationships with the community, suppliers, and contractors.
Core Competencies:
Strong operational knowledge across all departments.
Understanding of South African Labour Laws and Health and Safety requirements.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to lead and inspire a team while setting a positive example.
