Lodge Manager - 4* Lodge - Pilanesberg
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager for a 4-star lodge situated in the North West Province within the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of all lodge operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining profitability.

- Manage all lodge operations efficiently and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and projected profit margins are achieved.
- Maintain effective communication with guests, including personalized correspondence and ensuring personalized guest experiences.
- Oversee the smooth operation of all lodge functions, including hosting meal venues and functions, check-in and check-out procedures, and prompt resolution of guest complaints.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety throughout the lodge.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure seamless cooperation and professionalism among all departments.
- Implement and maintain financial and stock control procedures.
- Provide effective leadership and management of lodge staff, including performance appraisals, training, and discipline as necessary.
- Perform any reasonable tasks as requested by the General Manager or Chief Operations Manager.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the lodge industry.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of lodge operations and hospitality industry standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and hospitality operating systems.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of company financial procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and hygiene principles.
- Guest-focused philosophy and exceptional communication skills.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control.
- Proactive with the ability to use initiative and creative flair.
