Assistant Lodge Management Couple. Spectacular 5* Game Lodge Welgevonden Game Reserve Limpopo The core skill set we seek is trail guide experience or qualifications/certifications. Applicants must be qualified or close to getting their qualifications as a trails guide. Applicants must be willing to perform different tasks in a smaller game lodge. This 5* Game Lodge in the Welgevonden Game Reserve is in the process of expanding the lodge from 10 beds to 20 beds. They need an enthusiastic Assistant Management Couple to support this project over the next few years while continuing the ordinary business operations of the Lodge. They must, as individuals, have at least 4 - 5 years’ experience working in a Luxury 5 Star Game Lodge and interacting with international guests. Depending on their skill set, they must be flexible and willing to participate in a small establishment's daily activities, including Guiding, Food, Beverage, Hosting, Admin, Housekeeping, and Maintenance. Coordinate guests reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
Foster a welcoming and friendly environment, ensuring guests feel comfortable and well taken care of during their stay
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by consistently providing excellent service and addressing guests concerns or complaints.
Arranging Bush delights, special occasions, special holidays etc.
Staff Management:
Supervise lodge staff members.
Create work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to maintain high standards of service.
Minimum of 5 years lodge working experience. 4 or 5 * an advantage.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent operational experience encompassing every aspect of Lodge Management including HR, Admin, Finance, FOH & Guest Experience
Ability to receive instruction and follow thought as required.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests, staff and external stakeholders.
Knowledge and experience of lodge operations, including front desk, kitchen/chef and housekeeping.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel & Word.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Availability to work flexible hours as well as extra hours when required.
Lead by example very important.
Desire, drive, and experience to develop the lodge to its full potential.
Ability to operate independently.

Package & Remuneration
Salary R 20,000 – R30, 000 PER PERSON negotiable - R apply below - R apply below per couple - depending on qualifications & experience.The final salary will be based on the candidate's current salary but negotiable based on experience.
Meals: Food allowance (offered over and above the salary. R1 500 per person per month.
Uniform: Provided by the company, Shirts, Peet Cap and Flees for winter.
Laundry: This will be done by lodge staff.
Gratuities – Would receive any specified tips if they guide or share in the tips pool for the day or by guests on the property.
The work cycle is: 6 weeks on duty and two weeks off. We are incorporating the annual leave in this cycle. The accommodation: Is a furnished room with an en suite bathroom. The Open-plan Kitchenette has a fridge, 4 plate stoves, and an oven. Wi-Fi and DSTV streaming is available and included in the accommodation.
