Administrative Support - Support in scheduling meetings, meeting minutes, document signage, relying and distributing of information received, and any typing assistance required by the hospital management. - Report typing, as there is an increasing need to provide reports to the Board of Directors, Department of Health and National Health Network. - Compilation of statistics, as the hospital manager and management team depend on updated, timeously, and well-executed statistical reports. The reports must be shared with several stakeholders such as the National Health Network, Department of Health. - Support the hospital manager, human resources department and management team to ensure annual updates of documents, policies and SOP’s. - Manage online calendars and bookings. - Collect annual documentation from doctors, the HPCSA, and Professional medical insurance, Agreements. - Facilitate the onboarding process of new doctors. - Updating the notice boards in the hospital. - Schedule meetings for the Board of Directors as much as needed scheduling meetings, meeting minutes, document signage, relying or distributing of information received. Offer support: - Support hospital staff: cleaners, pharmacy, technical, household, and clerical staff, when they interact with the Specialist consulting rooms and management team. - Support admissions, theatre confirmations, updates, discharges, and stock control for the management team. - Support specialists and allied professionals as well as the management team in arranging catering for hospital functions and special occasions. - Provide marketing support to specialists and allied professionals as well as the management team in marketing services through different media and marketing material. - Offer proactive support regarding hospitality development by assisting with the design of delivery bays and storerooms for food, and catering kitchens. - Assist with catering reviews of patient menus, portion sizes, and special diets. Developing and Facilitating Hospital Programmes: - Facilitate student and learner programmes, such as career day and shadowing programmes. - Initiate and facilitate staff wellness. - Initiate and implement staff development programmes. - Keep track of all the employees’ birthdays, write an email of appreciation to each one on their birthday. - Facilitate Staff Professional Development in house training programmes, by sourcing sponsors, function planning, marketing (taking pictures during the programmes and posting them on Crestcare’s social media platforms) and arranging venues. - Facilitate Continuous Professional Development programmes by sourcing sponsors, function planning, marketing (taking pictures during the programmes and posting them on Crestcare’s social media platforms) and arranging venues. Patient Experience: - Early identification of chances to enhance patient experience: centurions, triplets, patient birthdays, special anniversaries, new babies, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, Easter, and Grandparents. - Improve patient experience, if a patient and their family wants to see the hospital manager with a complaint you must be able to respond swiftly. Coordinating: - Assisting the management team in directing service providers and supporting them when they must arrange things such as switching electricity, repairing equipment, training arrangements, and coordination between departments.
