Our client, a luxury hotel in Cape Town, is looking for a Deputy General Manager to assist the General Manager in managing the hotel's daily operations. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various departments, handling guest relations, and ensuring that the hotel operates efficiently. You will also step in during the General Manager’s absence to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Support: Assist the General Manager in overseeing hotel operations across all departments.
Guest Relations: Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and ensuring high service standards are met.
Staff Management: Support department heads in day-to-day operations and staff management.
Financial Oversight: Assist in monitoring expenses, budgets, and financial performance.
Training and Development: Help train and mentor staff to maintain the hotel's service standards.
Problem Solving: Handle operational challenges and provide solutions as needed.
Acting General Manager: Step in to lead the hotel during the General Manager's absence.
