We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead the operations of a luxury hotel based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all departments, maintaining high service standards, and achieving financial targets. You will work closely with department heads to provide strategic direction, foster a positive team culture, and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Operations: Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.

Leadership: Lead and motivate the management team and staff to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth to meet financial goals.

Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that all guest needs are met and that the hotel maintains a high standard of service.

Staff Development: Train, mentor, and develop department heads and staff to ensure continuous professional growth.

Compliance: Ensure the hotel complies with all health, safety, and legal requirements.

Reporting: Provide regular reports to the hotel owner and stakeholders on financial performance, operations, and guest feedback.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a luxury hotel or similar high-end hospitality environment.

Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a large team.

Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.

Guest Focus: A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Problem Solving: Ability to handle complex operational challenges and provide effective solutions.
