JD Specialized Recruitment are currently partnering with a resort in Drakensberg to recruit a highly experienced & dynamic DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER to join their team. Experience & Skills Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management from a reputable Hotel School would be highly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the capacity of a General Manager or Deputy General Manager role essential.
Exceptional F&B expertise, with a strong background in kitchen operations, outlet management, stock control, and team leadership.
Previous Event Management experience would be highly beneficial.
Strong leader with a naturing attitude towards staff with a flair for training and development of team members.
Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements, ensuring best practices are followed to ensure successful quarterly inspections.
Manage labour-related matters, including rosters, leave schedules, workplace discipline and compliance with the LRA.
Knowledgeable in safety & security procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of guests, staff and assets.
Strong organizational, administrative and financial skills essential.
Ensure licensing requirements are met; equipment is serviced at regular intervals and insurances are current and up to date.
Computer literate and comfortable with MS packages programs – Excel, Word, Outlook & Power Point.
Highly guest centric with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Attention to detail with knowledge of maintenance of large estates would be highly advantageous.
Own reliable vehicle & valid Driver’s license is essential.
