Reporting into the Customer Services Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for processing customer orders and executing deliveries as per the customer’s request
Achieving the sales forecast, maintaining correct stock levels, processing complaints and proactively liaising with the customer and promoting customer service excellence
Responsible for managing the customers’ order book
Processing orders within lead time to achieve the sales volume
Pricing verification
Invoicing to be aligned with the Revenue Recognition policy
Handling customer queries and complaints effectively and providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and following up to ensure resolution
Effective allocation of orders to available inventory to achieve working capital targets
Planning and following up on deliveries
Customer complaint handling
Communicating priorities, urgencies, risks and coordinating with relevant internal departments
Provides business continuity back up within the broader customer services team
Ensuring month-end reporting requirements are adhered to
Handling internal and external audit queries timeously
Your profile:
Minimum NQF level 6 supply chain or related qualification with a focus on business management, with an accredited organisation
A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a customer services role within a manufacturing environment; experience within the pulp and paper; packaging and print industry would be advantageous
Handling order inflow and monitoring order tracking up to order fulfillment
Experience with SAP is essential specific to the sales order processing
