As the Design Manager - Civil/Structural, you will play a critical role in leading the design team and ensuring the successful execution of civil and structural engineering projects. You will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to deliver high-quality designs that meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently, providing technical guidance, and overseeing the entire design process from concept development to construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the civil and structural design team, providing technical guidance and support throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with other disciplines, such as architectural and mechanical engineering, to ensure cohesive and coordinated designs.
• Review and evaluate design proposals, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with established standards and client requirements.
• Oversee the preparation of technical design documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify adherence to design guidelines and address any issues that may arise.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve design-related conflicts and ensure smooth project execution.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in civil and structural engineering design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Design Manager or similar role in the civil and structural engineering field.
• In-depth knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in using design software such as Auto CAD, Revit, and STAAD.Pro.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations and practices is preferred.
