IT is at the heart of their organization with more than 30 different product teams and 10 different platform teams that are trying to build the best products & services for their customers.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:
- Maintenance of the application running on Openshift / Spring Boot
- Ensure application stability and optimal performance, as performance is crucial
- Enhance monitoring and alerting via Splunk
- Enhance the application with new functionalities
- Participate in the continuous improvements and implementation of best practices.
TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Java Engineer
- Solid experience and understanding of Spring Boot
- Solid experience and understanding of Open Shift/Kubernetes
- Solid experience with SQL Queries
- Experience with migrating applications to an Open Shift Container Platform
- Experience with integration tools, I.e. Kafka, Web Methods
- Experience with creating Docker containers
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Splunk
- Knowledge of setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines in a Microservices architecture landscape
- A demonstrated record of achievement in large technical (migration) projects
- Awareness of critical concepts in Dev Ops and Agile principles
- Ability to keep up with software and cloud development trends and innovation
SOFT SKILLS:

Strong engineering instinct (do the right thing), a deep understanding of computer science
- Fluent English, with good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and assertive communication skills, great team member
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
