Tasks & Responsibilities

Design, Develop and enhance electro-mechanical systems.
Create mechanical design specifications including 3d models for parts, assemblies or complete products using computer-aided design programs as well as Engineering Bo Ms
Reinforce, Support and Adhere to Envipco Engineering processes.
Support Supply Chain in validating locally sourced components and modifying designs accordingly.
Lead DFM activities and other quality-oriented projects.
Identify areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and make recommendations for improvements.
Provide input for process development.
Coordinates design changes based on manufacturing challenges.
Provide Engineer design support in collaboration with other teams to help resolve manufacturing challenges.
Actively maintain knowledge of new technologies, methods, and techniques
Actively support and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred, mechatronics or electrical engineering considered.
You have at least 12 years of experience in Engineering Design work, Solidworks 3d and Auto Cad 2d
You have experience working independently but also enjoy working in a team environment.
You have strong communication skills and are comfortable communicating with all levels of management, external customers, and vendors.
You have strong technical, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
You have experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and or Structured Problem-Solving methods.
You enjoy travel. This position requires regular visits to Envipco Engineering offices in Germany and the USA.
You have very good language skills in English. As a second language Romanian or German will be appreciated.
