Job requirements
- Extensive experience with the Force.com stack;
- Ability to demonstrate a broad understanding of the Salesforce platform and provide examples of how you've used Salesforce to solve business problems in the past;
- Experience developing in Apex;
- Knowledge of REST APIs to integrate Salesforce with a third party API;
- Strong Understanding of Java Script and the LWC library, creating Lighting Web Components;
- Clean, well-designed code;
- Strong understanding of object-oriented coding practices and design patterns applicable to Apex coding;
- Previous experience of following TDD best practice;
- Understanding of deployment and branching strategies;
- Familiarity with setting up and maintaining a deployment pipeline using SFDX (e.g. Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Circle CI);
- Agile experience, having contributed to various ceremonies;
- Good communication and collaboration skills;

Responsibilities
- You will make extensive use of Salesforce, particularly the core platform stack with a focus on Service Cloud;
- Working with Apex, you will build batches, schedulers and triggers and integrate Salesforce with third party systems via REST APIs. You'll also be responsible for building Lightning web components;
- As the senior engineer on the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the code;
- Working alongside the Quality Engineer, you'll encourage the adoption of modern principles such as TDD, Pair Programming, Software Craftsmanship, effective use of CI/CD and provide coaching to other engineers;
- You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from helping with technical estimates when refining a requirement, designing a solution, creating demos for stakeholders, to ensuring a successful go-live of the capability;
- You will ensure that the engineering teams maintain the deployment pipeline using SFDX via Git Hub Actions;

Agree with the wider team on the best flavour of Agile to adopt, to facilitate interaction with the product managers, quality engineers, UX designers and data team.
