OUR PARTNER: Our partner, ABN AMRO Clearing, is a global leader in the domain of clearing, offering access to a wide range of listed instruments on markets across the globe. THE ROLE INVOLVES: Our Customer Relationship Management team is responsible for ensuring that our clients are registered in the best possible way, as they are the golden source for all client related data. Not only the data is very relevant for the CRM team, but they are also responsible for various client related processes. Every year, our clients have to be reviewed to ensure they still comply to strict financial regulations, this is done (for example) using the Client Review Process. The CRM team uses Salesforce as their system to perform these processes. Therefore, you will be responsible for:
Challenging & refining business requirements from technical point of view
Analyzing business requirements and converting them in high-quality Salesforce solutions
Following code best practices like naming conventions to maintain code readability and consistency
Testing (unit, integration, etc.) of new and existing features
Supporting existing products in case of incidents or bugs
TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:
5 years of relevant experience as a Salesforce Developer
Salesforce Application Architect certification would be a plus
Proven experience with code version control tools like GIT
Strong understanding in data modelling
Experience with sharing and security setups of Salesforce
Experience in integrating Salesforce with other systems, inbound and outbound
Experience with SFDX and VSCode
Being able to apply software engineering best practices to Apex development e.g. triggers, async apex, bulk, batch
NICE TO HAVE:
Eager to learn new technologies and tools, and desire to continuously learn and improve in a complex, rapidly evolving environment - ability to keep up with software and cloud development trends and innovation
A demonstrated record of achievement in large technical (migration) projects
Awareness of critical concepts in Dev Ops and Agile principles
Understanding of financial services and risk management in general can be a plus
Relevant Bachelor/Master’s Degree

Fluent English, with good written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and assertive communication skills, great team member
Strong responsibility instinct (do the right thing), self-motivated and taking ownership
Problem-solving, critical thinking and good troubleshooting skills
