Role:
The Data Security Controls Assurance Manager is a member of Flutter International security team, reporting to the Head of Data and Access Security.
The Data Security Controls Assurance Manager is responsible to assure the design and effectiveness of data and access cyber controls in Flutter International HUB, measure and report on data & access controls effectiveness, provide insight to stakeholders regarding the maturity of the cyber security control environments and related risks for data & access.
The role will also support the Head of Data & Access Security in leading initiatives to uplift data & access security controls maturity in line with existing security policies and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, SOX, local regulators).
Accountabilities:

The Data Security Controls Assurance Manager is a leader and SME in the Data & Access Governance cyber risk and compliance space who is responsible to ensure that these controls are highly effective and efficient.

Designs Data & Access controls key performance indicators (KPIs) and performs regular independent control monitoring.

Drives continuous improvement for Data & Access cyber controls by identifying potential opportunities for enhancing them while ensuring minimal impact to stakeholders.

Influence stakeholders such as system owners to improve their Data & Access cyber controls with the aim to make Flutter International HUB more secure from internal and external threats.

Establishes trusted relationships with cyber security and divisional peers.

Ensures that reporting on control performance (design & effectiveness) are produced and can be understood by all business stakeholders.

Report and monitor progress of tracking remediation activities for Flutter International’s HUB access governance SOX deficiencies.

Fosters a culture of integrity and respect with a global outlook

Participates in governance and oversight forums/committees as required
Key Strengths:

A senior professional with a deep understanding of Data & Access governance, risk and compliance

Able to adapt communication style to proactively deliver critical information to key stakeholders and to appreciate different and opposing perspectives.

Solid technical knowledge of security related technologies and industry standard processes across Data & Access Cyber risk areas.

Technical expert who has experience in defining Cyber Security policy, standards and controls
-
Strong working knowledge and experience of current IT Security standards such as ISO 27001, PCI, NIST, Data Protection
-
Strategic thinking which can translate to a long-range vision for driving down Cyber Security risk
-
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders on Data & Access best practice and be a change agent.

Inquisitive, disciplined and logical thinker who possesses strong investigative and analytical qualities that will translate into providing independent and objective analysis of Cyber Security Risk

Results-oriented with the ability to influence outcomes with pragmatic recommendations and guidance
-
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to modify style to influence technical and business stakeholders

A methodical approach to organising workload to ensure deadlines are met

Ability to adapt working in a dynamic environment dealing with complex challenges, and communicating to all levels of the business.
