IT End Point Engineer

Why we need you:
- Reporting to the IT Endpoint Team Lead, the IT Endpoint Engineer will be involved in the day-to-day administration of our Microsoft Intune,
- Configuration Manager and Jamf environments.
- Deployment of mac OS and Windows operating systems using Jamf, Config Manager and Autopilot
- Application Packaging / scripting for deployment of apps on Windows and mac OS
- Endpoint governance, reporting and compliance management
- Endpoint security and patching
- Incident and request management
- Provide 3rd Line support to Pokerstars Helpdesk on Endpoint related issues
- Project, process and task management
- Creating and ongoing maintenance of departmental documentation
- Performing out-of-hours escalation and maintenance duties a required
Your experience:
- Three to five years of experience in a similar Desktop / Endpoint Management role within an Enterprise Organisation
- Experience in OS Deployment, Software Distribution and Patch Management in SCCM, Intune and Jamf Including 3rd Party Catalogues and Applications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune & Jamf
- Experience preparing POC’s, creating RFC and Implementing Service / Process improvements
- Experience working with MDM Solutions
- Experience working with JIRA and Atlassian products
- Experience packaging software for managed deployments
- Experience administrating Microsoft Azure and O365 offerings
Desired skills:
- An understanding of key Endpoint technologies such as VPNs, anti-virus, removable media control, application control, user rights management, patching and managed update systems.
Windows
- Configure and manage Autopilot device enrolment settings in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Create and manage Intune device enrolment profiles (DEP) for different device types (Windows, mac OS, etc.).
- Configure Intune policies for device security, compliance, and application deployment.
- Monitor Intune device health, compliance status, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot Autopilot and Intune deployment issues.
- Stay up to date on the latest Autopilot and Intune features and functionalities.
- Understanding of Windows 10/11 deployment and management concepts.
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) principles.
- Knowledge of Azure AD and its integration with Intune.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Intune and Autopilot deployment issues.
- Strong understanding of security best practices for managing devices.
- Jamf Enroll devices in JAMF.
- Configure device settings and security policies.
- Deploy software applications and packages.
- Perform remote actions like wiping or locking devices.
- Generate reports on device inventory and compliance.
- Track device inventory, including hardware and software details.
- Ensure devices are compliant with organizational policies.
- Identify and address non-compliant devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with device enrollment, configuration, and applications.
- Analyze JAMF logs to identify and resolve problems.
- Maintain strong security practices within the JAMF environment.
- Configure security policies to protect devices from vulnerabilities.
- Manage user access controls within JAMF.
- Utilise scripts for automated device management tasks.
- Utilize JAMF features like Smart Groups and policies to automate workflows.
General Skills:
- Scripting Experience with Power Shell & Bash
- Able to prioritise and work within tight time scales to meet deadlines
- Available to travel and work extra hours if the needs of the company require it
- Ability to work in a team environment with remote team members
