Role description:
You will join our global Structural Engineering team, where our projects and development opportunities can fit various ambitions from 3D modeling and parametric design to Operate & Maintain digital methods. The delivery is secured through global collaboration platforms like BIM360, which allows engineers across various offices to work together seamlessly while maintaining clear visibility for our clients.
Role accountabilities:

• Communicating with the BIM manager on regular basis and provide reports of project status;

• Delegate the workload to the modellers comprising of teams from other Disciplines;

• Coordinating clash detection and resolution activities;

• Create federated model from different discipline models for BIM coordination activities;

• Provide oversight on workflow within the project and coordinate with BIM Manager to any found issues;

• Support the engineers with issues related to drawing standards and usage of BIM software’s;

• Mentor the BIM modellers with any queries they have and to assist with modelling when required;

• Ensure the latest model is always up to date and correctly stored in the common data environment;

• Able to coordinate with lead engineers and other disciplines;

• Develop skills in managing large and complex BIM Project;

• Perform data validation and model health checks;

• Able to setup/develop new BIM model projects, maintain workability and efficiency;

• Oversee drawing production that adheres to company/project standard and procedure (ie. BIM Execution Plan);

• Undertake coordination with Senior Design Engineers and design leads in the Lead Offices;

• Check and verify that quality requirements have been achieved in accordance with Arcadis systems;

• Provide Advanced BIM training on software’s and BIM processes to the team;

• Check all members of the project team are following the BIM Standards/BIM Execution Plan/ISO 19650 standard.

Qualifications & Experience:
Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering;

• Good English skills;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Good Revit, Auto CAD, Navisworks skills;

• Can quickly adopt to drawing standards.

Nice to have:

• French language would be a big plus;

• 8 years of experience working with relevant BIM software’s on Multi-Discipline BIM projects;

• Overseas Experience (work in other countries or project design outsourcing company).
