Detailed description of work task to be carried out
We are looking for an IT Tester with strong knowledge of relevant standards and technologies, ideally with experience in the financial sector. The candidate should have a proactive mindset, be ISTQB certified, and possess excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders across different locations.
Description of knowledge and experience
Experience with different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, integration, performance).
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) and continuous integration tool (e.g., Jenkins).
Proficiency in writing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Maven, etc. Analyze requirements, define test scenarios, and capture evidence for sprints/releases.
Track and close defects, and create comprehensive test reports Build and execute basic queries using DB2/SQL and conduct database testing (Oracle). Strong communication skills – clear and concise communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Skilled in explaining complex issues in simple terms to ensure alignment and understanding. Excellent verbal and oral English skills. Experience in Agile environments with a collaborative mindset to achieve common goals. Open to providing and receiving feedback, actively participating in daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning meetings. Proactive and initiative-taking - Take initiative to identify potential risks, dependencies, and improvements in the process. Courageous in raising concerns, suggesting changes, or questioning assumptions when needed. Demonstrated ownership of quality, actively seeking ways to improve testing processes and outputs.

This includes ensuring that all modifications, integrations, and data feeds into FACP from other sources systems are functioning as expected and do not compromise the system’s performance or accuracy in monitoring transactions. The tester will work independently to identify, assess, and test potential effects of modifications on the FACP system and its integrations. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure all changes are understood, properly documented, and rigorously tested to maintain seamless integration and functionality.
