The Global R&D knowledge assistant is responsible for maintaining the tools and technical learning modules for R&D and CI&TS according to the direction provided by the Global R&D knowledge manager. He/she supports the knowledge management process to enable all CI&TS colleagues to have the best learning journey at Barry Callebaut
The Global R&D knowledge assistant also supports the Global R&D team on an ad hoc basis for preparation of customer presentations, technologies newsletter, project reviews meetings and other administrative activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Support his/her line manager in his/her activities,
- Centrally maintain CI&TS specific knowledge, training and onboarding materials as well as customer training,
- Manage the creation, facilitation, and continuous improvement of R&D learning initiatives, including the CI&TS organization's knowledge exchange platforms (e.g. centralized knowledge management system, internal wikis, or dedicated collaboration space),
- Partner with subject matter experts and external content providers to ensure that learning content is relevant, up-to-date, and effective,
- Assist colleagues in their search for specific learning materials,
- Seek opportunities to improve knowledge management,
- Organize team meetings / team trainings according to requirements,
- Support the team to prepare presentations, review meetings and technologies newsletter,
Responsible for the administrative tasks of the Global R&D team (budget follow up) as well as Management assistance (travel),
About you:
- Bachelor degree,
- Advanced knowledge of MS office applications, Articulate 360,
- Open to learn on BC databases for learning, training and knowledge sharing,
- Tech savvy,
- Well-organized, detail minded and accurate,
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing),
- Fluent in English,
- Organizational talent,
- Trained on ‘Develop effective e-learning modules’ is a plus
