Manages independently a variety of customer quality tasks related to Projects or Customers requests regarding all aspects of the product lifecycle. Demonstrates technical expertise and credibility in role and/or function
Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders, external customers, and other departments daily about various aspects of customer quality.
Manages strategic size projects and strategic & critical customer accounts. Effectively leads multi-functional projects to address and resolve customer quality issues.
Create and review finished products specifications for Mc Cormick brands, Industrial, Quick Service Restaurants, Private Label and Retails customers
Create and manage raw material, semi-finished, finished products and packaging microbiological, sensory, chemical and physical inspection plans for Mc Cormick manufacturing plants in Canada and USA.
Act as a primary point of contact in relation to technical / quality assurance related queries for external customers as per account.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Food Technology Diploma or related qualification
Fluent English is required
Previous experience in the food industry (e.g. Quality assurance, technical, R&D, customer services)
Knowledge of quality systems preferable e.g. ISO, BRC, EFSIS
Advanced level of computer literacy (specifically Excel, SAP, Outlook, Devex, and Lotus Notes desirable)
Knowledge of Food Safety Quality Systems/Food Certification Standards (Halal/Kosher/Organic) will be an advantage
Understands specific food safety management issues, possesses sufficient understanding on product composition.
Good oral and written communication skills
Organized, methodical, good attention to detail
Able to prioritize and manage time effectively, with a high sense of urgency
Willing to work in rotating shifts (morning / afternoon)
