Job Overview:
The Visual Display Officer is responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining high-quality visual merchandising displays that enhance the customer experience and drive sales. This role will ensure that all displays are aligned with company standards, seasonal themes, quarterly campaigns, monthly thematic and promotional activities. The Visual Display Officer will also work closely with store teams to implement displays that effectively showcase key products, optimize floor space, and maintain consistency across all stores.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Marketing, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a home improvement, retail, or furniture setting.
Strong creative and design skills with an eye for detail.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple stores across different regions.
Willingness to travel frequently within the Panay region, Negros, and Mindanao.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Visual Display Strategy
Develop and execute compelling visual display strategies that attractively showcase products, enhance store ambiance, and drive sales.
Regularly update displays to reflect current promotions, new product arrivals, and store events, ensuring the complete set of display elements (price points, signage, infographics) is in place.
2. Campaign and Promotion Implementation
Collaborate with store managers and assistant store managers to ensure that campaigns are executed correctly and consistently in line with the given guidelines.
Provide feedback on the effectiveness of merchandising guidelines and suggest improvements for future campaigns.
3. Store Compliance and Evaluation
Implement store evaluation and compliance programs with a grading system to maintain visual merchandising standards across all stores in the Panay region, Negros, and Mindanao.
4.Collaboration and Training
Work closely with store teams to ensure displays are properly stocked and aligned with promotional strategies, coordinating with SM, ASM and SIC inventory to replenish items as needed.
5. Creativity and Innovation
Design innovative and visually engaging modules and fixture displays that highlight key products, especially destination merchandise and newly arrived items.
6. Display Maintenance and Inventory Management
Ensure displays are regularly maintained, well-organized, and safe, including the visual display area/room where props and fixtures are stored.
7. Brand Consistency and Communication
Ensure all displays and signage reflect the THD brand image and communicate the intended message effectively.
8. Impact Measurement
Provide regular reports to the Visual Display Manager on display effectiveness, customer reactions, and potential areas for improvement.
9. Flexibility and Adaptability
Adapt displays as necessary to account for seasonal, situational, or weather-related changes, ensuring that displays remain relevant and impactful.
Optimize the use of floor space to maximize product exposure while maintaining ease of navigation for customers.
10. Leading the Store Opening
Oversee Store Opening Setup: Lead the setup process for new store openings, from planning and implementing visual collateral to ensuring displays are executed according to brand guidelines and store layouts.
Execute Floor Layout: Coordinate and execute the store’s floor layout, ensuring that product placement and visual displays maximize customer engagement and align with the company’s overall merchandising strategy.
Work Environment:
This position requires frequent travel to various store locations.
The role may involve working outside regular business hours, including weekends, to set up or modify displays.
