Responsible for promoting positive health and maintain safe working environment in the project site.
Responsible for overseeing the activities of the project site, to make sure that all workers comply with government’s safety regulations and company policies.
Creating, enacting, and updating job safety programs for workers that encompass government health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the project site.
Maintain injury/illness mishap data, analyzes reports, and initiate action to improve safety program.
Implement preventative measures, maintain buildings safety standards, create and implement safety policies and train in appropriate fire safety procedures.
Responsible for facilitating compliance with construction occupational health and safety (COSH) guidelines.
Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering
Construction background with at least moderate experience on vertical developments (mid-high rise buildings)
With COSH Training
48 hours advanced/ specialized training (LCM, SPA, TOT, IH, Fire Safety)
5 years experience in OSH
Knowledgeable in Auto CAD and Microsoft Office
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Accredited DOLE OSH Practitioner is an advantage but not required.
