We are looking for Pastry Sous Chef, we rely on you to:
Controls quantity by adjusting production according to projected covers, using function sheets, etc
Controls quality of the produced products by overseeing the preparation and maintenance of recipe cards
Controls portion and presentation
Obtains guest feedback by maintaining active presentation in outlets during operating hours
Regularly reviews existing menus and cycles with Executive Chef
Proposes new items, and coordinates menu development
Participates in creating unique projects, themes, festivals
Organizes backdrops for photo sessions
We are looking for someone who:
Has a passion for Food & Beverage
Enjoys interacting with people
Must have experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment
A self-starter and a teamplayer
Committed to serving food of the highest quality
Enjoys being creative with an eye for detail
Enjoys planning, organizing and problem-solving
Communicates and writes with fluency in English and the local language due to the needs of servicing international and local guests.
Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
