It involves remotely monitoring client’s electrical and electronic equipment, responding to issues, outages and errors. About the Job: Monitoring at regular intervals the online platforms for:
Ampd Enertainer
POWR2 (Victron Systems)
Ge H2 Hydrogen Generators
Diesel generators with BDM data miners
Any other system BDM introduces
Responding to alerts in the monitoring system, and triaging the alerts based on standard rules.
Creating service tickets for triaged events.
Conduct remediation actions as specified (eg reboot equipment, contact client by phone to advise equipment has no power, etc)
Escalation for tickets that require follow up by technicians in Australia (according to decision tree).
Booking jobs/tasks for Australian service technicians as required/requested – eg call outs onsite.
Data collation and reporting on assets and monitoring effectiveness. Eg download equipment reports and issue to necessary contacts, create/add to report on error/ticket frequencies. (training and scope to be provided later).
Tracking and auditing of critical spare equipment, updating current levels of supplies. (Training to be provided later.)
Your Qualification:
Basic understanding of home or office networking or someone with electrical background.
Prior experience with multiple monitoring systems.
Has used ticketing system / CRM before, and familiar with concepts like response time, resolution time, ticket updates, ticket escalations.
Navigating web-based apps.
Trouble shooting and ability to follow processes.
Knowledge of renewable energy systems, eg batteries, solar, generators, interest/passion for this type of equipment is highly regarded
Attributes and other soft skills:
High quality verbal and written English
Attention to detail
Customer service, phone etiquette. Ability to walk customer through standard processes
