As a key member of the Accounting team, the role will play a critical role in recording, analyzing, and applying accounting principles to produce accurate financial information and insights. This position offers the opportunity to work on incentive compensation, general ledger functions, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Incentive Compensation & Commissions:
Calculate and process short-term incentive plan (STIP) payments and commission calculations.
Analyze incentive programs and assess performance against actual results.
Provide reporting and payment support to recruiters and client-facing teams.
Address and resolve queries regarding commissions and incentive payments.
Accounting & Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly journal entries for assigned areas.
Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolve any reconciling items during the month-end close process.
Cross-Functional Support:
Cross-train in other general ledger functions to provide backup and support during peak periods.
Participate in financial meetings and present findings to various stakeholders.
Internal Controls & Best Practices:
Ensure internal controls over financial reporting are well-designed and operational.
Identify and promote best practices to continuously improve processes.
Audit Support & Miscellaneous Tasks:
Assist in the preparation of documentation for the annual audit.
Perform additional accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years in corporate or public accounting.
Experience with short-term incentive plans and commission processing is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
Proven problem-solving skills with a professional, ethical approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective teamwork and the ability to function independently.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to handle a varied workload.
Additional Requirements:
Willing to work in the office at Bridgetowne, Quezon City.
Must be comfortable working during US time zone hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Public accounting experience.
CPA (or equivalent) designation, or in progress.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and D365 F&O (or similar ERP systems).
