As a member of the accounting team, this role is responsible for recording, analyzing, and applying US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to prepare accurate financial information and analyses. The ideal candidate will support key financial processes, ensure compliance with US accounting standards, and actively participate in financial reporting and audits. Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:
Prepare accurate monthly journal entries in compliance with US GAAP for assigned areas of responsibility.
Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
Investigate and resolve any reconciling items during the month-end close process, adhering to US accounting standards.
Cross-Training & Stakeholder Engagement:
Cross-train in other general ledger functions to provide support and coverage as needed.
Participate in periodic financial meetings, presenting insights and updates to a variety of stakeholders across the organization.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
Recognize and develop best practices, continuously evaluating processes to enhance efficiency and compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
Ensure internal controls over financial reporting are well-designed, operational, and in compliance with US regulations.
Assist in preparing documentation and support for the annual audit.
Additional Accounting and Finance Tasks:
Perform other accounting-related tasks and finance support as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting, with a strong foundation in US GAAP and US accounting principles.
Experience with general ledger management, month-end close, and reconciliations.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding and application of US GAAP and US accounting requirements.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a professional and ethical approach to all tasks.
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:
Must be willing to work in the office at Bridgetowne, Quezon City.
Willing to work during US time zone hours to align with global financial operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in public accounting, with exposure to US GAAP and compliance practices.
CPA (or equivalent) designation, or currently pursuing certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and D365 F&O (or similar ERP systems).
