F&B Team Leader
Job Overview:
The F&B Team Leader is responsible for leading and motivating the food and beverage team to deliver exceptional service and ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves overseeing staff, managing service quality, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. The F&B Team Leader acts as a key point of contact between the F&B Supervisor/Manager and the front-line staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Hospitality Management or any related course
· At least 2 year/s of Team Leader / OIC-related working experience specialized in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
· Strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills
· Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
· Organized, has a strong sense of urgency and highly motivated
· Pro-active in resolving issues and able to work under pressure
· Good in Handling People
· Willing to work on rotation shifts
· Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
· Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of servers, bartenders, and other front-line staff.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they adhere to service standards and operational procedures.
- Ensure all guests receive high-quality service and have a positive dining experience.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and enhance service delivery to meet and exceed guest expectations.
- Oversee daily food and beverage service operations to ensure efficiency and smooth functioning.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Ensure that all areas of the dining room, bar, and service stations are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist in onboarding and training new staff members.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve staff performance and service quality.
- Recognize and reward outstanding performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure that all safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met.
- Solicit guest feedback and use it to enhance service quality.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and coordinate shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Oversee shift changes and handle any staffing issues that arise during the shift.
- Ensure that all operational tasks are completed efficiently within the shift.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of special events and functions.
- Collaborate with event organizers and other departments to ensure successful events.
