Job Overview:
The F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional service standards, managing staff, and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising restaurant and bar operations, coordinating with kitchen staff, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
o Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage outlets.
o Supervise and coordinate the activities of waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen personnel.
o Conduct regular briefings and meetings with staff to ensure effective communication.
o Ensure that all guests receive outstanding service and have a positive dining experience.
o Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
o Monitor and address any service or quality issues in real-time.
o Train new employees on service standards, operational procedures, and health and safety protocols.
o Conduct ongoing training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills.
o Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
o Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
o Ensure that food and beverage items are prepared and presented according to company standards.
o Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the dining area, bar, and kitchen.
o Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
o Maintain accurate records of food and beverage stock, sales, and waste.
o Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to food and beverage service.
o Assist in budgeting and cost control for the food and beverage department.
o Monitor and manage labor costs, supply costs, and other operational expenses.
o Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.
o Assist in the planning and execution of special events and functions.
o Coordinate with event organizers and other departments to ensure successful events.
o Build and maintain positive relationships with guests to encourage repeat business.
o Solicit guest feedback and use it to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Food and Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
· At least 3 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Proven experience as an F&B Supervisor or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficiency in F&B management software (e.g., POS systems).
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
· A customer-centric attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
· Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
