Job purpose To achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.
Duties and responsibilities
Review all enquiries from the customer and prepare the quotations
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails
Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
Gathering market and customer information
Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
Attending team meeting and sharing best practices with colleagues
Qualifications Education
University degree in marketing/engineering or business studies is preferred Skills and Experience
Minimum of 3 years of related experience or training in Oil and Gas services sector
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers - Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software
Valid driver’s license
