A high-end luxury and fashion brand in VI Lagos is hiring a Sales Manager. Successful candidate will be is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading and coaching the sales team, overseeing stockist relationships, and ensuring seamless operations across digital and physical sales channels. This role demands a proactive approach to achieving sales targets, fostering customer relationships, and maintaining high standards in store presentation, merchandising, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Set and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by creating effective sales strategies.
Develop and manage relationships with stockists to expand brand visibility and drive profitability.
Analyze market trends and customer data to provide recommendations on pricing, promotions, and product strategies.
Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to improve conversion rates across channels.
Stockist Management
Oversee onboarding, training, and performance of stockists to align with brand standards and sales goals.
Monitor and ensure stockist compliance with agreed-upon pricing, merchandising, and promotional guidelines.
Customer Relationship Management
Manage high-level customer interactions across digital platforms (Whats App, Instagram, email) and in-store visits, ensuring prompt and personalized responses.
Oversee the follow-up, follow-through, and follow-back process to enhance post-sale engagement and increase repeat business.
Inventory & Store Operations
Oversee inventory management, conducting regular stock audits to ensure alignment between physical and digital records.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stockists to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing turnover.
Lead the team in daily restocking efforts, ensuring displays remain fully stocked and visually appealing.
Manage local and international deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and tracking to meet customer expectations.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performance environment.
Provide regular feedback and performance coaching to ensure continuous team development.
Develop incentive programs to motivate staff and achieve sales targets.
Manage fragrance selection and appliance maintenance to maintain an inviting in-store environment.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align sales strategies with brand campaigns and operational goals.
Work closely with product teams to provide market insights and feedback on collections, contributing to future design decisions.
Collaborate with Marketing to implement digital and in-store promotions, driving traffic and engagement.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
Analyze sales data and prepare reports on key performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Monitor competitor activities and recommend adjustments to maintain a competitive edge.
Track and report on stock levels, ensuring proactive Loool decision-making to support sales objectives
Qualifications:
5+ years of sales management experience in retail or luxury goods
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in sales analytics and reporting tools
Familiarity with inventory management and visual merchandising principles
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
Experience in the beauty or fashion industry
Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce platforms
Certification in sales or marketing (e.g., CRM, sales forecasting)
International sales experience or knowledge of global markets
