Responsibilities

- Develop and execute strategic joint business plans with leading fashion brands.
- Lead the expansion of Turkish partner brands and markets, including Defacto, LC Waikiki, Trendyol, Koton, and Hepsiburada.
- Drive top-line performance while optimizing monetization and profitability through Jumia's assets (marketing, logistics, and payments).
- Establish a Turkish sourcing hub, creating routes to market across regions, onboarding 3PLs to ensure competitive costs, and building a dedicated team.
- Scale the 1P retail model by setting up processes for ordering, inventory management, and margin structures aligned with profitability targets, and develop BI tools to monitor performance.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns with marketing and advertising teams.
- Support e Commerce growth and education across various markets.
- Lead frequent promotions for customer acquisition and retention, including Black Friday, Jumia Anniversary, and Brand Festival.
- Organize Super Brand Days to boost brand awareness and sales on the platform.
- Contribute to developing "Jumia Official Stores," a dedicated brand-owned universe.
- Actively participate in tech initiatives to enhance the user experience for brands and customers.
- Implement best practices from advanced e Commerce markets through partnerships with key industry players.
- Drive structural initiatives to grow the Fashion category across all markets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Master's degree is a plus).
- At least 5-7 years of experience in the fashion industry, with experience in Turkey as a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of business growth and success in developing and executing business strategies.
- Fluent in English (Turkish is a strong plus).
- Location: Based in one of Jumia's offices in Casablanca, Cairo, or Lagos.
- Solution-oriented with a creative approach to solving business issues.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
