Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Legal Counsel to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing company. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a range of corporate legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and overseeing communications with relevant authorities, including SEC and FMDQ.

Job Overview:

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a range of corporate legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and overseeing communications with relevant authorities, including SEC and FMDQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the company's interests.
- Manage communications with regulatory bodies, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Financial Markets Dealers Quotations (FMDQ).
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and risk management strategies.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company and advise management accordingly.
- Assist in dispute resolution and litigation matters as needed.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to legal standards and corporate policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with a valid license to practice law (Bar Admission).
- 3+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certifications (e.g., LLM) or memberships in relevant legal associations are a plus.
