The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting monthly audits, reviewing financial records, and ensuring that all financial processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This mid-level role is crucial for maintaining accuracy, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting overall financial integrity within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular audits of financial documents, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Review monthly financial statements and reports to detect inconsistencies, errors, or potential risks.
Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, analysis, and recommendations for corrective actions.
Work closely with the finance team to implement effective internal controls and improve financial operations.
Evaluate the effectiveness of current financial procedures and make recommendations for process improvements.
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and identify any compliance gaps.
Assist with special audits or investigations as required by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
3+ years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify discrepancies and compliance issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and collaboration with team members.
Familiarity with audit software and financial reporting systems.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to pharmaceutical finance is a plus.
Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) are advantageous.
