We are recruiting to fill the position below:
We are looking for an experienced and resourceful HR Officer to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes at our supermarket.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
Prepare employment contracts and ensure proper documentation for new hires.
Organize onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
Support line managers in conducting performance appraisals and developing employee improvement plans.
Ensure the supermarket's HR policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and are properly communicated to all employees.
Keep records of all employee information such as leave days, attendance, and payroll data.
Address employee grievances, handle disciplinary actions, and mediate workplace conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Promote positive employee engagement and address any concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Assist in the development and implementation of performance evaluation systems.
Coordinate with the finance department for timely and accurate payroll processing.
Assist in managing employee benefits, including health insurance and leave entitlements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in retail or supermarket settings.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and HR software.
Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 / Month.
