Head of Operations
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Operations to lead our administrative and operational functions, with a strong focus on project management and process optimization.
This role will be pivotal in driving efficiency, overseeing cross-functional operations, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
You will play a key role in digitizing workflows, coordinating projects, and managing resources to ensure the seamless execution of tasks and company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflows, optimal resource utilization, and timely execution of tasks.
Lead the assessment and implementation of digital tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Develop and maintain digital document management systems to improve organization and ease of access to key information.
Standardize data collection, reporting, and performance metrics to facilitate informed decision-making and continual improvements.
Administrative Leadership:
Supervise and streamline all administrative activities to maintain high standards of organization and resource management.
Manage office facilities, equipment, and supplies, ensuring effective utilization of resources.
Oversee vendor relations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring value for money in procurement and services.
Organize travel logistics, accommodation, and event coordination for staff and external stakeholders.
Lead the planning and execution of team-building activities, office events, and initiatives that promote collaboration and morale.
Project Management & Coordination:
Coordinate and oversee company projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.
Implement and maintain strong project management practices using digital tools to track progress and facilitate communication.
Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution, particularly with donor engagements and event planning.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects remain on track and meet established KPIs.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional operations team to achieve performance targets and drive operational excellence.
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Facilitate effective communication across departments to ensure alignment of operational goals with overall company objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
7+ years of experience in operations, administration, and project management roles, with demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
Experience in implementing digital tools and solutions to streamline processes.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Zoho Projects) and office productivity tools.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary range: N300,000.00 - N500,000.00 per month
