Job Role: Event and Partnership Officer Location: Lagos Duration: Initial 14-month contract, subject to retention based on performance Job Overview: We’re seeking an organized, diligent, and detail-oriented individual to drive impactful events and foster strategic partnerships for the Award's growth across Nigeria. The role involves event planning, partnership management, and program delivery while requiring strong communication, relationship-building skills, and database experience. Key Responsibilities: Event Planning & Execution: Organize training, award ceremonies, fundraisers, and promotional activities; manage logistics, bookings, and attendee arrangements. Partnership Development: Cultivate relationships with corporate sponsors, community organizations, and government bodies; manage agreements and strengthen existing partnerships. Marketing & Outreach: Collaborate on marketing strategies, social media campaigns, and promotional materials; represent the organization at events. Administration & Reporting: Manage event budgets, track outcomes, and maintain accurate records; report to the Head of Admin and Business Support. Collaboration: Work with staff and volunteers on project groups and event briefs. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years in event planning, partnership development, or similar roles. Non-profit and fundraising experience is a bonus.
