Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to company standards.
2. Create new and innovative menu items that reflect the restaurant’s style and vision.
3. Supervise kitchen staff and ensure all food preparation meets high standards.
4. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
5. Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
6. Manage food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
7. Collaborate with the management team to maintain a cost-effective kitchen operation.
8. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and chefs-in-training.
9. Handle special dietary requests and accommodations with professionalism.
10. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Chef.
2. Culinary school diploma.
3. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
4. Ability to manage a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
5. Creative culinary skills with attention to detail in presentation and flavor.
6. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
7. Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
8. Experience in cost control and kitchen management.
9. Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
