Location: Apo, Abuja. Our client is seeking a passionate, skilled chef to create delicious meals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that each dish is nutritious and cost-effective while adhering to the menu and food that meets the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work 6 days a week, and get off days Saturdays by 6:00PM and resumes Sunday by 6:00 PM. Responsibilities:
Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served promptly.
Working with the existing, and planning menu, keeping in mind the budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
Overseeing all kitchen operations.
Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
Keeping up to date with industry trends.
Receiving feedback and making improvements where necessary.
Requirements:
Past experience working as a home chef.
Knowledge of the culinary arts.
Must be versatile and good at local Nigerian delicacies and continental
Perfectionism in sanitation and quality control.
Portfolio of creative, unique dishes.
Expert multitasking ability.
Great leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to run stocktaking and place orders for resupply.
Passion and pride for delighting people with food.
A culinary school degree/diploma will be an added advantage.
