A.P Maersk, Nigeria is looking for a driven CHB Documentation Supervisor who will be in charge of all documentation processes with all government agencies and inspection agencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare Import-Export declaration in compliance with Nigeria Customs regulations.

Check accuracy on documents.

Data entry of client shipment detail and update of shipment milestones through Trakit.

Create and monitor exception reports on customs clearance turn time.
-
Actively communicate to ensure 100% client satisfaction and full visibility of status of customs clearance.

Provide HS code classification to internal staff and external clients timely.
-
Collect documents for customs declaration and draft customs declaration for duties estimation.
-
Coordinate with field officers to execute customs delivery and Shipping line process.

Interact with customs authorities to manage disputes.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
3 to 5 years of Prior experience with customs clearance/customs formalities.

Previous experience in Transit, import and export, and project cargo assessment.

Previous background in CHB position and in the Maritime industry is an advantage.

A minimum of a bachelor’s/HND degree holder
-
Conversant with port operations and has relationship with NAFDAC, NACCIMA, NAQS, CUSTOMS, NDLEA, DSS & FOU.

Knowledge of NICIS II is a Must.

Proficient MS package knowledge.

Good work organization skills, and detail orientation.

Ability to learn quickly and to multitask.

Stress resistance, ability to deliver on tight deadlines and to prioritize.

An efficient, decisive, result orientated individual with Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
