We are seeking Qualified Traffic Controllers & TTMs with experience to join our teams in the Manawatū and Horowhenua areas.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safe and orderly movement of traffic at designated locations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to public safety and uphold efficient traffic flow through dedicated monitoring and control measures.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safe and orderly movement of traffic at designated locations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to public safety and uphold efficient traffic flow through dedicated monitoring and control measures.
Responsibilities:
- Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic at designated locations to ensure a smooth and safe flow.
- Operate traffic control devices such as stop signs, traffic cones, and signalling devices effectively.
- Monitor and report any irregularities or traffic issues to supervisors or appropriate authorities.
- Communicate traffic directives clearly and courteously to motorists and pedestrians.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or congestion.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination in managing traffic flow.
- Certification in traffic control
- Class 1 Full licence or restricted licence.
- Previous experience in a traffic control or related role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
- Weekly pay + 8% Holiday Pay.
