About the opportunity
We're looking for a Site Operations Manager to lead our warehousing and transport teams at our fresh produce market in Tauranga. This newly created opportunity manages a team of approximately 15 people in stores, warehousing, and truck driver roles across both day and night shifts.

We're looking for a Site Operations Manager to lead our warehousing and transport teams at our fresh produce market in Tauranga. This newly created opportunity manages a team of approximately 15 people in stores, warehousing, and truck driver roles across both day and night shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee all inwards, dispatch, and transport operations for the site
- Lead and develop the operations and transport team to create an engaged, customer-centric culture
- People management including recruitment, health and safety, performance management, rostering, and labour budgets
- Ensure inventory management controls are in place
- Build strong relationships with growers, customers, and all internal teams
- Communicate delivery performance and ensure service levels are met
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of site operations
- Experience leading stores, warehousing, and transport teams
- Awesome people leadership skills with a focus on Health & Safety
