Retail Sales Assistants (fixed term, part time) - Mitre 10 Onehunga

Bring your customer service skills and passion for DIY projects or renovations to this role. You will have the ability to think outside the box and provide the right solution, not just the right products.
The Role:
We are looking for fixed term, part-time Retail Sales Assistants (from September 2024 to 31 January 2025) to join our friendly and supportive Onehunga team. The ideal candidate will be a great listener and be able to positively engage with a variety of customers who are seeking their advice.
You will be part of a knowledgeable team that works together to deliver great service. This is an opportunity to learn and grow your retail sales career.
We are looking for Retail Sales Assistants for the following departments:
Tools Department - Friday-Saturday, Monday (24 hours)
Hardware Department - Friday-Saturday (16 hours)
Cooling & Heating Equipment/Outdoor Furnishings Department - Friday-Monday (32 hours)
Garden Centre - Friday-Monday (32 hours)
Customer Service - Friday, Sunday-Monday (24 hours)
All roles require:

High initiative levels and a solution-orientated mindset
Excellent listening and communication skills
A passion for customer service excellence
Previous retail sales experience will be advantageous but this is not essential
Physical fitness and the capability for heavy lifting
The ability to take the initiative, a mature and autonomous approach
