Unipol Recreation Services is based at the University Plaza in a state-of-the-art facility offering a wide range of recreational opportunities.
We believe in the power of Te Tiriti o Waitangi as a guiding framework for our work and we pride ourselves on offering outstanding recreation programs.

The role/Te mahi
As the Recreation Operations Coordinator, you will be part of the Unipol family (whānau) and report to the Assistant Manager (Fitness and Facility).
You will be an enthusiastic individual who brings energy, enthusiasm, and passion to their work.
We are looking for candidates with a hands-on attitude, flexibility, and adaptability to an ever-changing environment.
This is a full time (37.5 hours), permanent position, located in Dunedin.
Hours of work are 12noon – 8.00pm, Monday to Friday during semester time, with more flexible hours if desired, during the University breaks.
The appointments range for this role is $65,281 to $69,648. Top of Range $74,947.
You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this position.

As the Recreation Operations Coordinator, you will be part of the Unipol family (whānau) and report to the Assistant Manager (Fitness and Facility).
The main responsibilities of this role are to coordinate the operations of Unipol Recreation Centre including program delivery by:

- Monitoring and controlling Unipol.
- Delivering effective training and development of Student Recreation Assistants (50 student staff).
- Encouraging and actively modelling the Unipol kaupapa including manaakitanga, kotahitanga and whanaungatanga.
- Providing departmental Health and Safety support.

- A relevant tertiary qualification or working towards a qualification in Sport, Recreation, or Management.
- Experience working in the recreation/fitness industry.
