The Quality Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality team within the site to ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards. You will lead quality control processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
Te Mahi /Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership – Leading a team of Quality Assessors
Quality Control – Identifying, reporting and implement corrective actions alongside the wider team
Process Improvement - Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement best practices
Compliance & Documentation - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality management systems

Key skills and attributes:

An understanding of red meat sector business and government support for primary industry
Qualification in science related subjects or equivalent experience
An understanding of Quality Assurance management standards, practices and Frameworks
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
