New Graduate Medical Imaging Technologist

After all your hard work it's now time to move on to that next step of your first post graduate role, and we would like to take the opportunity for you to join us here at Dunedin Hospital's Radiology department.
We pride ourselves on being a hardworking, but fun team that values quality and putting the patient first. This is a great place for you to come and spread your wings.
As a tertiary hospital we have the following on offer:
  • Fully equipped Radiology department with DR, General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, DSA, NM, MRI and ultrasound services
  • We work alongside colleagues in Emergency, Theatre, ICU, Outpatients and NICU
  • Dynamic and varied work environment, servicing a vast geographical service delivery area with a diverse patient population
  • You will certainly be kept on your toes, with our service operating on a 24/7 basis with on-call rostering
  • Enhance your professional development and add to your skill set

To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
  • Approachable, and professional with a team-player mentality
  • A natural affinity for relationship building with both patients and staff alike
  • Be a team player through and through, with refined communication skills
  • Working towards completion of tertiary study in 2024 and be able to apply for an Annual Practicing Certificate and registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board
  • Highly adaptable, motivated, and work efficiently
  • You must have the ability to cover both the on call and shift roster

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the APEX/Te Whatu Ora Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement, Step 1 ($70,842 p.a pro-rata) of the Medical Imaging Technologists scale.
