Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
This role offers an entry-level pathway into the multi-faceted Kāinga Ora Finance environment. You will get exposure to work with Management and Treasury Settlements team and will get to support a variety of team functions:

  • Handle ad hoc projects: Engage in various ad hoc projects as they arise, taking a proactive approach to support the team's objectives and contribute to their successful completion.
  • Coordinate activities across teams: Act as a central point of contact and coordination, facilitating seamless collaboration, communication, and workflow management across different teams.
  • Lead admin reconciliation and improve accuracy of data collation process: Take ownership of administrative reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of collected data, and implementing measures to enhance data collation processes.
  • Support management and project accountants with capitalization and reporting: Collaborate closely with management and project accountants to support capitalization efforts and facilitate accurate and timely reporting.
  • Lead analysis work: Take charge of conducting comprehensive analyses, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Unpick complex processes and document process improvements: Demonstrate the ability to unravel intricate processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and document the recommended improvements for future reference and implementation.
